Summit 2019

the challenge of change

26-28 March 2019

Hamilton, New Zealand

“Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.” -

Lyndon B Johnson

Change is a constant in today’s global market, bringing both opportunities and challenges.  While we can’t change the change, we can change how we respond to it.

Summit 2019 explores The Challenge of Change and how rising to that challenge can empower you and your business.  We have a great speaker line-up to inspire and motivate you to succeed.

Renowned psychologist Nigel Latta will reveal some of the brain’s mysteries, discussing how our brains address and adapt to challenges.  Gareth O’Connor, Strategic Director of global advertising agency PHD will provide fascinating insights into new technologies and how to adjust to them.  Wakatu Incorporation board member Miriana Stephens will share their experiences of business adaptation, transformation, growth and evolution. Industrial Hemp is a rapidly changing sector and Richard Barge will update us on the latest changes and the vision for the future. David Downs, General Manager, Projects at NZTE will talk about resilience, both from a corporate and a personal level.

Up-to-date knowledge is a vital decision-making tool in a rapidly-evolving landscape so we are delighted to welcome back Craigs Investment Partners and IRI Worldwide to update us on the states of New Zealand’s economic situation and natural health product markets.

Changes within our sector are one thing, but what about wider changes that could affect our industry?  The Sustainable Business Network’s CEO Rachel Brown will discuss the circular economy and the opportunities it presents.

Register on, or before, 31 January 2019 to take advantage of the early bird special discount of $625 for members, or $875 non-members (a full-price ticket is $725 or $975).

Summit 2019 will be held in Hamilton.  As always, be sure to get in early and secure your accommodation and flights.

We look forward to seeing you there!
